Rhinoplasty
This kind of nose surgery can be performed in a hospital, in a plastic surgery clinic or a surgeon's office, with more complicated rhinoplasties requiring short hospitalization. Nose jobs can be achieved pretty quickly, typically being performed in one to a couple of hours; however, more complex nose surgery can take longer. When it comes to local plastic surgery, topical numbing is often associated with the patient being given light sedatives, and whereas local plastic surgery allows the person to witness what's happening around himher, during general plastic surgery, patients are sleeping through the procedure. When a rhinoplasty surgeon performs an incision, the latter is usually done inside the nose, however, in some nose jobs, there is an exterior cut, one that's made around the base of the nose.
